
Zsolt Hamar at the first Erich Bergel International Conductor Competition. A total of almost 200 competitors, representing more than 33 countries, took part in the competition.
The competition is dedicated to Erich Bergel, who was born in Romania, RâÅŸnov. He was principal conductor of the Cluj Philharmonic orchestra and of the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, teacher at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin and guest conductors of the most important orchestras of his time.
